However, their role goes beyond being mere pack animals or walking companions. In the world of coaching, therapy and personal development, equines emerge as powerful tools to facilitate processes of change and growth.
Success in life goals and the happiness found in the moments of life is the ability to use resources in an effective, honest and true way towards yourself.
Equines are in the here and now! Everything that can be done is to be done here and now!
In individual sessions - horses are powerful mirrors that reflect our thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
Through interacting with equines, clients can gain valuable insights about themselves.
This can lead to greater self-knowledge and self-awareness.
Group Management and Leadership - equines live in herds with clear social structures and defined hierarchies. By working with them, participants have the opportunity to explore leadership dynamics, effective communication and teamwork. Equines provide valuable lessons about the importance of authentic leadership, clear communication and mutual respect
In the team workshops we work with the focus of approaching the dynamics in a playful way without pressure, obtaining the necessary information to establish a behavioral training plan in the company. Equines provide a unique experience of connecting with nature.
This connection can bring several benefits, such as:
· Stress reduction;
· Increased feeling of well-being;
· Improved mood;
· Greater mental clarity.
Experiential and Corporeal Learning: Activities with equines involve practical and experiential learning, far from traditional learning environments. Participants in these sessions get physically involved, learning through action and direct experience, which facilitates a deeper internalization of the concepts and skills worked on.

Nowadays, executives must know their skills to add value to their management. This training will strengthen your leadership by helping you in the decision-making process, strategic vision, supervision, difference management and other organizational challenges. With this objective, we propose a 6-day program (3 modules) that invites self-knowledge and the creation of a space for reflection that translates into effective actions duly accompanied by an equine specialist, a coach and the equine as a resource for learning.
The relationship between horses and humans has existed for millions of years, which is why the bond between the two species has naturally strengthened. With the support of horses, we consolidate leadership, deepen the learning experience and learn to recognize our emotional states when they occur and act accordingly.
The benefit of this equine-assisted methodology is that, through the emotional relationship established with the equine, we can foster our self-knowledge and develop leadership skills.
The horse has the ability to “perceive emotions”, its mirror shows us immediate, clear and authentic feedback, which reveals our skills and areas for improvement. The horse is, naturally, a maestro in leadership, assuming it or granting it to those he trusts absolutely, this being another of his virtues.
The central intention of the experience is self-knowledge, taking possession of all the information we have: sensations, feelings, values, intentions and actions, to understand how we respond, behave, function and communicate on a personal and professional level.
"I learned that observing something or someone, factually, limits the need for judgment, brings clarity of reasoning and uncomplicates the way we position ourselves."
"4th impact – the conversations on the bench… I learned, on that bench, that I should strive to be in front of life, just like in front of a horse.
In plain English… “leave my shit” and, instead of trying to seem like someone better than I am, work on being someone better than I am. "
"The 2nd impact − Getting closer to Cacau, for the first time
Approach the horse (mare) and make contact with him/her
I think I would still be there today if it weren't for your intervention... (laughs)
That day, I woke up to the difficulty we have in getting closer to each other, such is the amount of things we carry with us (egos, fears, vanity, pre-conceived ideas, etc.). "
"Life doesn't always present itself in the way we idealize it.
Just like in life, you never know what awaits you after crossing the large gate of the Mount of Olives, except for the warm welcome we invariably receive. "
It is interesting to provide some information about Equine Ethology, very simple concepts.
This brief explanation helps to understand that horse-assisted interventions can only be developed if horses live in a herd, as close to their natural habitat. There is abundant food and space to move around as freely as possible. These conditions are not 100% guaranteed but it is necessary to try to make this happen in the best way possible.
Horses are mammals that are more than 40 million years old. They overcame several ice ages, allowing a very special and delicate evolution to survive until today.
Their limbic system allows them to survive. With their highly developed, assertive, powerful and effective senses, horses have remained on planet Earth in evolution for 40 million years.
They live in groups! Help each other! and Respect their own limits and those of others!
The horse's premise for living is the fear of being eaten/dying - a prey that doubts loses its life, if a predator doubts it ONLY loses a meal. The consequence of doubt is very DIFFERENT between predator and prey - it is a very recurrent subject in individual sessions, doubt.
Despite this huge difference, horses live socially very similarly to humans. Horses are gregarious, constituting the herd and a space that is established based on the territorial-spatial function. For horses there are three essential things: family, freedom and plenty of food.
All this to show you how these animals have similar aspects to human beings and that they are highly assertive in the relationships they establish in nature, allowing them to remain on the planet through ice ages.
Now to summarize, we can say that all the relationships developed by this species, to stay alive, are based on body language. And also, the impossibility of them doubting will make them a reliable mirror of our intentions, attitudes and moods, allowing any individual, on an experiential basis, to relearn a healthy, honest, true and coherent way of life so that our language is effective in our life purposes.
Talk to us and schedule a meeting so we can better present the benefits of this approach for your organization or for you!
Come and experience being with the horses and discover how your daily life can be different and better!
